Below is a list of items you should have at the time you are applying for a mortgage.

Employment/Income

> 1 Months' Paystubs
> Last year's W2
> If Bonused/Commissioned: Last year's signed Federal Tax Returns with all schedules
> If Self Employed: Last year's signed Federal Tax Returns and a year to date P+L
> If Company Owner,(25% or more): Last year's Corporate Tax Returns
> If Property Owner: Last year's Federal Tax Returns and copies of leases
> If Alimony/Child Support: Copy of Divorce Decree/Separation Agreement with all Stipulations
> If Relocating: Offer letter and all relocation documents regarding benefits

Assets/Downpayment

> Statement Checking and Savings - Last month's complete statement
> If passbook - Copy of complete book, all pages
> IRA/401K - Copy of last quarterly statement
> Stock and Investment - Last 3 monthly or 2 quarterly statements
> If liquidating them, proof of the transaction
> Gifts - Completed gift letter with all supporting documentation
> If Selling a home? - Sales contract and HUD-1 settlement statement, when available

Credit

> If Renting - Landlord address
> If resident Alien - Copy of alien registration card(s) or applicable visitor
> If FHA or VA Loan - Copy of Driver License(s) and Social Security Card(s)
> If VA Loan - Original copy of Certificate of Eligibility or DD214

Subject Property Information

> If Buying SFD - Executed Purchase Agreement, Deed, Tax Bill & Listing Sheet
> If Buying MFD - Executed Purchase Agreement, Deed, Tax Bill & Listing Sheet & Leases
> If Buying CND - Executed Purchase Agreement, Deed, Tax Bill, Condo Docs and Budget
> If Refinancing - Deed, Tax Bill and Page of Homeowners Policy showing annual premium
